On 28th December 2007 Bipromet S.A. entered with Batory Plant sp. z o.o. into a contract including an annex, which refers to execution of design documentation as well as civil-erection works for investment named „Extension of casting hall in the Steelworks Department (W35) of Batory Plant sp. z o.o.”.
The contract covering the net amount of 3.630.000 zl is to be completed until 28th June 2008.
In consideration of approved investment program of Batory Plant, the signed contract provides Bipromet – as a potential designer, project manager and contractor – with possibilities to gain subsequent orders planned by this investor for completion. In the nearest future, it is highly probable that Bipromet shall receive another offer inquiries from the Plant concerning execution of complex investments. The Batory Plant arranged number of modernizations, including but not limited to modernization of pipe works, steelworks and heating systems.
The Batory Plant in Chorzów is a major manufacturer of pipes and steel ingots. Significant part of the plant production is exported – mainly to Germany, France, Sweden, England, Finland, the United States and Canada. The Batory Plant is owned by stock-exchange group of companies Alchemia that in turn is a member of an industry grouping controlled by widely known investor Roman Karkosik.
