In the last two days Bipromet S.A. has received an order for total amount of app. 2,4 mln zł net, including:
- on 07 November 2007 the Company obtained an order from KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. – Huta Miedzi Głogów (Głogów Copper Smelter Plant), the subject of which is execution of multi-branch technical documentation for the project: „Modernization of water cooling system for flash smelting furnace”.
- on 07 November 2007 the Company obtained an order from KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. – Huta Miedzi Legnica (Legnica Copper Smelter Plant), for execution of engineering documentation for the project: „Modernization of Copper Electrorefining Department – modernization of tank hall building”.
- on 06 November 2007. Bipromet won a tender organized by Orzeł Biały S.A. for execution of project in turn-key system: "Elaboration and execution of a work stand for research concerning paste desulfurization”. Net value of the investment: 1.592.500 zł.
KGHM for many years has been one of the Bipromet crucial clients. Participation of Bipromet in works for KGHM reached nearly 28% of sale income for year 2006. In the last 12 months the Company has completed for non-ferrous metal-works belonging to KGHM projects for the app. amount of 19 mln zł. Additionally, it should be mentioned that Bipromet has been the main designer of all KGHM plants since their foundation.
Cooperation with the recent presentee at the Warsaw Exchange – Orzeł Biały S.A. company specialized in recycling of worn out car batteries - proceeds splendidly which is proved by selection of Bipromet offer, claimed to be the most profitable, for design and engineering of research stand for paste desulfurization process. In the last year about 6% of Bipromet sales has its source in projects ordered by Orzeł Biały S.A.
„The orders obtained only recently refer to our core-business i.e. design and engineering services for non-ferrous metal industry, in which the Company has been continuously present for nearly 50 years. It is a highly perspective sector due to the programs for modernization and development of many industrial plants that were accepted for execution. I would like to mention investment projects from environment protection branch that I approach as extremely promising. In my opinion, we will shortly surprise the investors with following positive information and new orders” – said Tadeusz Baj, President of the Board of Bipromet S.A.
