In October 2008 Bipromet finished realization of Housing Estate "Dębowe Tarasy" in Katowice. The PLN 100 mln contract realized for Hungarian developer TriGranit was one of the biggest projects in the company's history.
The new built Housing Estate is localized in the center of Katowice near the Silesia City Center shopping center and Wojewodzki Park Kultury i Wypoczynku im. Gen. J. Zietka in Chorzow. The project of Debowe Tarasy Housing Estate within the scope of four-stage realization, anticipates building 4 eleven-storey and 8 four-storey buildings with 1000 apartments.
Within the scope of the contract including Stages 1 and 2, Bipromet S.A. as general contractor of the investment built 6 buildings, two high ones with cascade architecture and four low ones. The contract was realized through 19 months.
The total surface of the new buildings is ca. 32,000 m² with about 500 apartments. The apartment surface is from 26 to 122 m². The investment scale is proved by the fact that 3,500 tones of reinforcing steel was used for building, and 460 workers were employed on the site.
There are many greens, playgrounds for children and roads in the housing estate of total surface 9,000 m². Modern arrangement of greens in the form of green terraces with usage of the latest technologies of total surface of 3,000 m² is also noteworthy.
The monitoring and security system will be protecting residents. Residents will be able to enter the area of the Housing Estate by means of electronic cards. Each building has an underground parking for its residents and high-speed elevators.
The quality of "Debowe Tarasy" Housing Estate may be proved by the fact that TriGranit company received five stars for the investment i.e. the maximal note in the prestigious CNBC Europe Property Awards 2008 Competition. Hundreds of applications sent for the competition were evaluated by the international jury with many outstanding specialists from the estate branch. Due to such a high evaluation the investment was qualified for the international final of CNBC competition results of which will be published in the near future.
Engagement and good cooperation with the investor resulted in achieving a vast experience by Bipromet Group and references in realization of significant developers' designs.
